2006 Honda Civic Starter Problems
Asked by britt jan 08, 2015 at 11:35 am about the 2006 honda civic ex. Hi can anyone help last few months or so i have had some problems starting my 2.2 diesel civic year 2006 it normally starts ok when cold but i only need to drive a few hundred yards turn the engine off and try to restart and it dosnt like it struggles to start , sometimes have to leave it a while before.

The power all came on as normal (lights, radio, everything with no dimming), but the engine wouldn’t go all the way. The battery can just be completely drained. The 2008 honda civic car makes a clicking noise but won’t start:
Starting problems in your honda civic can be frustrating to diagnose. The mechanics that replaced the battery said that they battery was fine. I had a new battery installed in march of 2014, and it still had inconsistent starting issues.
It cranked a couple times but then after a couple tries that stopped. You will need to recharge or replace it at this point. My honda has been having problems starting when i try to start it right after i turn it.
